Extracts Pro's Closeout Log supports organizing files from many sources into a unified log to ensure you've captured everything required for turnover.
In a Closeout Log, the Items column displays which files have been linked to a closeout requirement. There are three possible sources for these items:
- Manual File Uploads (The icon of a document with an up arrow)
- File requests from trade partners
- Linked items in Procore
Linking Items from Procore
To link an item from Procore to a closeout log requirement, select the "Link" icon on the right-hand side of your closeout log.
A window will appear, allowing for selection from the following Procore tools:
- Action Plans
- Drawings
- Forms
- Inspections
- Meetings
- Observations
- Photos
- Punch List
- RFI's
- Submittals
Simply select which Procore tool you'd like to pull from, then click the checkbox(es) next to the items you'd like to link. Users can select from several tools and several items from each tool to fulfill a requirement.
Status Changes
The row will be left in "pending" status once items from Procore have been linked. However, when a single submittal is linked to a requirement, it will automatically update the Status Column of the item to "complete" when the submittal is closed in Procore. This enbables building a Closeout Log early in a project and statuses will be kept up to date automatically on your behalf (when linked to single submittals).
However, if many items are linked, the item will not automatically change status. When ready to mark an item as complete, simply double click on the status column and update the status.
