Prerequisites
- Be an Extracts Pro Administrator for your company
- Have access to other users in your Procore directory with a matching company email domain (@XYZconstruction.com)
Steps
- Navigate to the Extracts Pro home page using the home button in the top left-hand corner of the page.
- Apply an Extracts Pro license to a project with the desired users.
- Select the Users Tab, next to Projects.
- Click the three dots next to "Add Users" to Refresh your user list to ensure you have a current list of available users.
- In the top right-hand corner, select Add Users.
- You will then see the option to add users in your Procore project(s) directory with an email domain matching your company's (@xyzconstruction.com).
- You can add users as Members or Administrators. For more information on permissions available to each level, please see this guide.
Navigate to the Users Tab, then click Add Users
Adding An Administrator
By default, all users are added as "Members". If you'd like to upgrade someone to an administrator:
- First, add the user to Extracts Pro.
- Then, select the checkboxes next to the user's name, and click "change role" at the bottom of the screen.
- You can then upgrade the user(s) selected to an administrator.
Troubleshooting
What if I don't see the Users tab?
- Ensure you're on the home page for your company by clicking on the home button in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
- You may not be an Extracts Pro administrator. Reach out to your company's administrator to upgrade you, or have them add the users you need.
What if I don't see myself in the directory?
- If you are your company's primary administrator of Extracts Pro, you will not be visible in the directory. This is normal!
What if I don't see everyone I need to add?
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure that you have access to the Company Level Directory in Procore.
- In Procore, click the Home button > Then Select Company Tools.
- If you do not see "Directory", you will not be able to add users in Extracts Pro. You'll need to work with your internal Procore administrator to get at least ready-only access to the Company Directory.
- Ensure the user's email domain is connected to your account: For example, @xyzbuild.com and @xyzconstruction.com are separate domains and must both be registered to your account.
- Log out/log back in.
- Refresh your available users by using the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen next to Add Users.
If you'd like to immediately add everyone from your company, we recommend applying a project license to a test/sandbox project and selecting all users.
